For use in inspection laboratories or production cells, Gleason Metrology Systems manual line diameter measurement systems provide reliable dimensions for needle or ball measurement to verify the actual thread thickness (or gap width) across the screen. A unique constant pressure system guarantees accuracy throughout the entire range of the measuring instrument. Each system is equipped with a digital readout with a data output port that can be connected to an SPC processor.

No external settings need to be made to measure the components. Internal semi-automatic systems require only one approved, smooth ring for initial installation.
