Pentac Mono-RT

Pentac®Mono-RT is the world's first cutting system that uses the same blades on both the exterior and interior surfaces. The unique blade geometry associated with the patent-pending cutting head design places a knife into an inner blade and an outer blade into an outer blade. The Pentac®Mono-RT cutter system is specially designed for face milling with the Pentac seating collar, which includes a wide range of threaded designs.

The technology makes it possible to reduce the number of different blade cavities by 50% and to pass the blades from the outer nest to the inner nest, and vice versa to double the tool life by using the same blades as the cutter for a second operation.
