Gleason solves this problem with the partial modification of a knife seating surface and the addition of a screw that allows radial blade adjustment. PentacPlus-RT can be manufactured more quickly and more precisely than previous bar cutting blade systems. With the knife seating rigidity equal to the high hardness of our Pentac Plus, this new system offers superior surface quality, tool life and cycle times.
