Pentac Slimline

A low-profile peripheral cutter that uses rod blades for power skiving and 5-axis machining applications. Typically, a flexible disk is used to compress all the blades with one or more clamp screws at or near the center of the cutting dice to avoid the large wall thicknesses required to accommodate the individual clamp blocks and clamp screws for each rod knife.

Specifications:

• Uses standard PENTAC® rod blades.
• For low to high volumes.
• Low profile cutter requires minimum overhead clearance.
