887 CNC Curvic^® Coupling Grinder

The Gleason 887CNC CURVIC® Coupling Grinder is a high speed, large bore workspindle machine for grinding CURVIC teeth in face couplings. A fully-automatic grinding cycle allows the 887CNC to produce extremely accurate and uniform couplings at high production rates. Couplings are roughed and finished from a solid blank in one machine setup, which produces uniformly ground teeth for all couplings of a production lot. In addition, the 887CNC can be arranged for finishing only, so pre-cut and hardened couplings can be finish ground.
