Genesis® 400H

The Genesis® 400H vertical gear hobbing machine is the perfect solution for medium size disc or shaft type work pieces with up to 400 mm outside diameter and module 8. An optional chamfering/deburring station which operates in parallel to the hobbing process allows for flexible chamfer cutting.  The Chamfer Contour Milling process cuts chamfers with standard tools and highest flexibility. Different chamfer specifications can be programmed. Chamfer tools can be used for several workpiece types, significantly driving down tooling investment.

Manual, semi-automatic or full-automatic loading requirements are available. Dry or wet machining together with Gleason’s workholding and cutting tool solutions contribute to maximum flexibility without compromising productivity.
